Week 13 was one of the most wild weeks of the NFL season. Starting with the Cowboys shocking everyone and defeating the Saints, Kareem Hunt being released by the Chiefs, and Mike McCarthy being fired by the Packers. It saw multiple upsets across the league, and big injuries to some of the leagues biggest names.

Here are your week 13 winners and losers.

Phillip Lindsay – Winner

Phillip Lindsay is becoming one of the coolest stories in the league. Going from an undrafted rookie who wasn’t even invited to the NFL combine, to becoming the Denver Broncos’ lead back and well on his way to a 1,000-yard rushing season.

Lindsay has really taken off in the second half of the season and is one of the big reasons for the Broncos’ recent success. He has helped the Broncos get back to 6-6 and keep them in the playoff hunt. Week 13 was no different for Lindsay. Lindsay torched the Bengals defense for 157 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Lindsay did this all on just 19 carries for an average of 8.3 yards per rush. Lindsay’s biggest highlight came on a 65 yard touchdown run to seal the game away.

If the Broncos are to continue this late season push, it will be on the back of a solid run game from Lindsay. With performances like this, the second leading rookie rusher could put himself into the offensive rookie of the year conversation.
