Gregg Williams (Cleveland Browns)

The man may have an inflated opinion of his own worth, but don’t be fooled. Gregg Williams is a placeholder for the Cleveland Browns. GM John Dorsey has every intention of following the mold he’s experienced during his time both in Green Bay and Kansas City. That’s hiring an offensive coach to mold and develop his young quarterback in Baker Mayfield.

It was true with McCarthy in Green Bay and Andy Reid in Kansas City. It’s just a matter of Dorsey finding the guy he wants. Williams was somebody he inherited, so this was always going to be a temporary thing. Will they keep him to preside over the defense? That’s doubtful. Odds are the entire coaching staff will be purged when the season ends.
