Georgia Players To Watch

RBs DeAndre Swift, Elijah Holyfield – There is no secret that Georgia’s identity on offense is built around a run game that is 11th in college football in rushing yards per game at 259.8.

While it is arguably the deepest and most talented position on the team, it is definitely the foundation of the Georgia offense. Between Swift and Holyfield, there is 962 and 896 rushing yards respectively.

Both backs are physical and have the ability to run over or around you. A lot of Georgia’s success on offense is predicated off what the two backs can provide.

Edge D’Andre Walker – The athletic edge rusher has been pretty much the only source of reliability on the defensive line for the Bulldogs this season.

Walker leads the team in tackles for loss with nine and sacks with 6.5. His athleticism on the edge will be worth focusing on thanks to the skill set of Tagovailoa.

Georgia OL – Yep, the entire offensive line is getting highlighted here simply because the excellency of the Alabama front seven has the whole line on high alert. It will be up to this strong offensive line to generate run lanes against an Alabama defense that is 15th in the country in run defense.

They will also be tasked to keeping sophomore quarterback Jake Fromm upright and clean as possible.
