Jameis Winston – Winner

In the middle of what has been an up and down season for Winston, he was able to take another step forward in his bid to prove he is the franchise quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After taking over mid game for Ryan Fitzpatrick in week 11, Winston got the starting nod in week 12 and made the most of it. Winston led his team to a commanding victory, defeating the San Francisco 49ers 27-9. Winston threw for over 300 yards and threw two touchdowns.

The fatal flaw of Jameis Winston has always been his turnovers. This week he was able to protect the ball and record no turnovers. It was a very encouraging performance by the young quarterback as he attempts to regain the teams trust as the starter.
