After another tough road loss, the Green Bay Packers playoff hopes are thin. Let’s look to the 2019 NFL Draft to help fix this floundering team.
The Green Bay Packers are used to being perennial contenders with quarterback Aaron Rodgers at the helm.
After a stunning comeback against the Bears in week one, many believed that 2018 with Rodgers would be no different, even with an injury. As the weeks have gone on, the offense looks stale, there’s questionable decision making, and Rodgers isn’t playing up to par.
At 4-6-1, it’s time to realize this isn’t a season of contending and turn toward the NFL Draft.
When it comes to outlining needs, the Packers have glaring ones. With Randall Cobb likely gone after the season, Green Bay has to look to help Rodgers out with more weapons in the passing game.
Clay Matthews and Nick Perry could both be gone after the season, so edge rusher should be a top priority. The interior of the offensive line is something to monitor as well.
It’s all about gearing up and drafting well going forward to help Aaron Rodgers and the Packers get another Super Bowl title. Here’s a three round mock draft for 2019.
