Sean McDermott is a defensive coach and he’ll want to build his new Buffalo Bills team through defense. Helping Josh Allen would be wise but the fact is the board heavily favors the defense in this draft. So that’s where the Bills maintain their focus. Having a strong presence at defensive tackle is typically where 4-3 systems like to start and Quinnen Williams has emerged as a favorite for best in the 2019 class. It’s not hard to see why. He’s a strong player who is almost impossible to block one on one. He’ll plug up the running lanes and then squeeze the pocket as an interior pass rusher. There’s no getting away from him.
