2019 NFL Mock Draft: Jaguars finally escape Bortles purgatory

It’s still puzzling why the New York Giants willingly traded Jason Pierre-Paul. Sure he’s not overly young anymore but good pass rushers can last well into their 30s. It’s clear he hasn’t lost a step, posting 9.5 sacks in 10 games. Meanwhile the Giants defense hasn’t found an answer for their pass rush issues since he left. B.J. Hill and Lorenzo Carter are tied for the team lead with two each. That can’t be allowed to linger into next year. Montez Sweat is a perfect fit for their new 3-4 defense. He’s a sleek athlete with a long body and hidden strength. He moves well in space but can be a force coming off the edge, able to win in a variety of different ways.
