UCF excels in the spotlight

All eyes were on them this week thanks to an appearance from ESPN College Gameday and a primetime slot for most of America to see.

Still on the outside looking in of the College Football Playoff, #8 UCF Golden Knights (10-0, 7-0 American) handled the Cincinnati Bearcats, 38-13 to also strengthen their resume as they continue to make a case for a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Dual threat quarterback McKenzie Milton threw for three touchdowns and ran for another. The defense also played a great part of course with four sacks, three fumble recoveries, and only 13 points allowed.

Who knows if this win will aid the Golden Knights considerably in the revealing of the new CFP rankings this week?

But beating the Bearcats (9-2, 5-2) the way they did will provide evidence.
