They may be 5-4 but it certainly doesn’t feel like it after the Bengals were humiliated by the New Orleans Saints. It was once again obvious that this team doesn’t have the quarterback they need to truly challenge the best in the NFL.

Andy Dalton can gobble up mediocre and bad opponents, but he continues to wilt in big games. If Marvin Lewis blows this season and is finally replaced, expect a change at quarterback. Daniel Jones is everything Dalton isn’t: big, strong, athletic and has a strong arm.

He’s also had the benefit of playing under one of the best QB gurus in college football in David Cutcliffe. He can be a brighter future for Cincinnati.
