The injury to Nick Perry against Miami underscores a serious concern for the Green Bay Packers defense. They simply don’t have enough legitimate pass rushers.

Clay Matthews will be 33-years old next year. He can’t be expected to do it all himself forever. That’s why the team wisely moves to scoop up Jachai Polite. He may not be the biggest edge rusher you’ll ever see, but it doesn’t seem to matter.

His explosion, violent hands and ability to bend the corner have turned him into a consistent nightmare for offensive tackles to block. Just a relentless competitor who never takes a play off.
