48. . S. Alabama. Deionte Thompson. 10. player

The Alabama Crimson Tide already have a pair of players off the board in this mock draft, and Deionte Thompson has a good chance to make it three.

Would you like to know how bad the Buccaneers’ pass defense is?

“How bad is it?!”

The Buccaneers’ pass defense is so bad, they have allowed 23 touchdowns and have picked off just one pass.

Yikes.

Tampa Bay has a lot of issues right now but their pass defense may be the most embarrassing unit in the NFL today. They need someone to come in and help them force more turnovers and establish an identity on the back end of the defense.

Thompson can help at least get them started in that regard.
