In our latest 2019 NFL mock draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars make a move up to secure a new quarterback of the future. How will the rest of round one look?

For many NFL teams and fan bases, it’s time for 2019 NFL mock draft season. This year’s draft class is stellar on the defensive line and  teams could look to take advantage of that early on.

Will there be a run on quarterbacks in the first round?

How many could go in the top 10? Will there be any teams trading up for quarterbacks? We explore those ideas and option in this, the latest 2019 NFL mock draft, which now begins with Jon Gruden’s Oakland Raiders.

DE. Ohio State. Nick Bosa. 1. player. 28.

The Oakland Raiders have seven sacks. As a team.

In half an NFL season.

It shouldn’t be a shock they’re one of the worst defenses in the NFL and only 1-7 with a virtual death grip on the no. 1 pick. In the span of a couple of months, they traded their best player in Khalil Mack who has seven sacks in seven games by himself this season. Then they cut Bruce Irvin who had three of their seven sacks this year. Puzzling to say the least.

One thing is for sure. They better move to correct this problem fast or they’ll have to score a lot of points to win games moving forward. Nick Bosa may have left Ohio State early but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s one of the best prospects in the class.

He’s big, strong, athletic, long and can consistently whip an offensive tackle. He’s that guy they’ll need who can demand double teams.
