 A late season battle between two top-12 teams will take place in historic Yankee Stadium. Here is the preview and prediction between Syracuse and Notre Dame.

Before the season began, I’m pretty confident that very few expected a neutral site contest between Notre Dame (10-0) and Syracuse (8-2, 5-2 ACC) to have a significant hand in the College Football Playoff picture.

However, after 10 weeks of play, both teams are highly ranked and now a series that dates back to 1914 will now have the biggest meeting between the two schools on Saturday.

The all-time series goes in favor of the Fighting Irish at 5-3 with the latest meeting coming in a 50-33 victory for the Irish.
