Kevin white status update?

There isn’t much to say. White has been inactive for the past two weeks and it doesn’t look like the Bears missed him much at all save maybe for his run blocking ability. Reality is starting to set in. White’s injury setbacks comebined with his mediocre route running ability have relegated him to the bench. He’s just not a good fit for this offensive system. It’s sad because he’s worked so hard but the Bears have a responsibility to let the best players play.

What’s your prediction for the game?

It’s such an evenly-matched game on paper. The Vikings have experience on their side. The Bears have home field. Both have good defenses and underrated offenses. Neither can run the ball that well so it’s likely both will pass a lot. Given all things taken into consideration, I believe the Bears will win in a nailbiter. Probably something like 21-20. Let’s not forget the Vikings barely won at Soldier Field last year and that was against a talentless receiving corps and a rookie making his first start. If the Bears can avoid costly mistakes, this should be their game.
