Gardner Minshew For Heisman?

Should we start adding a new name to the Heisman ballot?

His name is Gardner Minshew and he plays quarterback for the no. 8 Washington State Cougars, who are 9-1 and the moment and sitting atop the Pac-12 North division. This past weekend, Minshew tossed for 335 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Cougars to a 31-7 road win against Colorado.

On the season, Minshew has thrown for 3,852 yards and 29 touchdowns with just seven interceptions. He leads the country in yards and passing yards per game at 385.2. He is also sixth in passing touchdowns and fifth in completion percentage.

Basically, Minshew has been a workhorse for Washington State this season and with the team around him enduring great success, it may be about time to start recognizing the large reason why.
