With week 11 of the college football season in the books, lets pinpoint some key takeaways from this week’s college football action.

By this point in the season, onlookers can pretty much distinguish the pretenders and the contenders across the college football landscape.

As of now, we pretty much have a clear barometer as to who will be in the tournament to determine the National Champion. Although there is still plenty of football to play.

Across the spectrum in week 11, we saw no. 15 Florida overcome a 31-14 deficit to South Carolina to ultimately win 35-31 in what was a must win for the Gators just for the sake of their own mindset.

For the fifth time this season, the Louisville Cardinals took a loss on the chin by a margin of 31 or more points. It appears the post-Lamar Jackson era is in the midst of a steep fall for the Louisville football program.

A comfortable win for the no. 8 Washington State Cougars keeps them in the hunt for the CFP although they will need a little help when it’s all said and done.

On the road in the frigid fall weather, the no. 2 Clemson Tigers handled what may be their biggest test left on the season. Here are the college football takeaways from week 11.
