Do you think that the bears defense will be even better then it was weeks 1-4 once Mack returns since they learned that they can’t rely on Mack to make their jobs easier after the last 2 games?

They were a great defense in the making when Mack was healthy. If he’s back to his old self moving forward, I expect that defense to return. The difference this time is that Leonard Floyd won’t have a cast on his hand anymore. He also seems to have gained some confidence with a couple of solid games against the Jets and Bills. It feels like he’s close to breaking through. If he does, that’s when things will really start to get interesting.

Can the #Bears survive another OL injury?

Let’s be honest. Even teams with loaded offensive lines can’t survive multiple injuries. Chicago is no different. Losing Kyle Long was a tough blow and it showed in Buffalo. The good news is they had depth in place to handle such a loss. That said if Kush or Daniels goes down? They’ll be in a serious bind because the barrel only goes so deep. The good news is they have Harry Hiestand, and he’s proven in the past that he can manage crisis situations like that.
