oh i got one. why on earth is benny cunningham returning kicks? is it bc they very minimally are returned it keeps guys like Cohen fresh? that’s the only thing I can come up with

Cunningham has been a special teams ace for a long time and he demonstrates good vision when running with the ball. His issue is a simple lack of speed. That’s why the Bears promoted Taquan Mizzell. To get him off the kickoff return team and put somebody back there with wheels. However, given how few times kickoffs get returned, it makes sense that Cohen would only be used in punt situations. Much higher return probability.

Name the guy #Bears need to key on to stop #Lions

There are a couple but I’d say Kerryon Johnson. The Lions are 3-0 this season when their rookie running back has topped 70 yards or more. Whenever he’s been held under four yards per carry, they haven’t just lost but have often been blown out. Clearly this offense isn’t clicking with the same pass-happy mentality it used to. Especially since they traded away one of their best targets in Golden Tate. So the Bears run defense should be a big focal point on Sunday.
