College Football week 10 takeaways: Alabama rolls over LSU
With week 10 of the college football season in the books, lets pinpoint some key takeaways from this week’s college football action.
The initial release of the College Football Playoff rankings was sure to play it’s part in the week ten action and based on the results from this past weekend, I think we are sure to see a little movement on the next rankings.
Facing a home game against a two-win Louisville team, the no. 2 Clemson Tigers proceeded to completely decimate the Cardinals in a 77-16 win. That’s right. The Tigers posted 77 points a week after torching Florida State for 59.
A back-and-forth affair between no. 6 Oklahoma and Texas Tech ended with a 51-46 win for the Sooners thanks to six touchdowns between star quarterback Kyler Murray and running back Trey Sermon.
Out west, stud receiver N’keal Harry led the Arizona State Sun Devils on their second ranked win of the season over Utah which dropped the Utes out of the new AP top 25.
On to the takeaways from this past week in college football.
