The Philadelphia Eagles are in prime position to take back the NFC East this month

Coming out of their bye week the Philadelphia Eagles are looking at a fantastic opportunity to reclaim the division. They’ve had a week to recover and get their new addition Golden Tate up to speed with the offense.

Coming out of the bye week the Eagles are looking at a schedule that gives them four of their next five games within the NFC East. Their only game outside of the division for the rest of the month is a major test against the New Orleans Saints.

Philadelphia hosts the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in what should be an electric environment. Coming out of the bye week fresh and ready to take on their division rivals the Eagles could strike big.

After going to New Orleans in a game where they’re likely to be underdogs, Philadelphia has back-to-back home games within the division. The New York Giants come in on Nov. 25 and the Redskins enter for Monday Night Football on Dec. 3.

Philadelphia then goes down to Dallas on a short week before facing their biggest test of the season, the Los Angeles Rams. That game will take Carson Wentz back to the field where he tore his ACL and be the second matchup between the top-two picks in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Philadelphia’s regular season rounds out with the Texans and Redskins, but those games won’t matter unless the Eagles take care of business in November.

Entering week 10 the Eagles will be a half-game behind the Redskins and 1-0 within the division, already locking up a win against the Giants. They are far from locked into the playoffs, but with a healthy Carson Wentz and the addition of Tate the Eagles should be ready to strike when the iron is hot.
