Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills spent a first-round pick on Josh Allen this past offseason after making about a dozen different moves to position themselves with enough draft capital to move up and get him.

It felt somewhat like the Bills ‘settled’ on Allen after they wound up winning a lot more than anyone expected them to a season ago, but at least even the idea that Allen could develop was better than the alternative for Buffalo’s second-year coaching staff.

They’ve proven they can win and overachieve a bit, but they’re definitely faltering this season, especially at the quarterback position.

Josh Allen is the future and will play when healthy, but he’s not fully healthy and the Bills have resorted to signing Derek Anderson off the street to actually come in and start a football game with how bad Nathan Peterman is.

If Allen is going to miss any more time this year, wouldn’t the Bills rather have Bradford than either Peterman or Anderson?
