The Arizona Cardinals released quarterback Sam Bradford. Which teams around the league could try to bring him in for the remainder of the season?

According to a variety of reports, the Arizona Cardinals have parted ways with veteran quarterback Sam Bradford, who signed a two-year contract with the team this past offseason.

Bradford played in just three games for the Cardinals, completing over 62 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and four interceptions.

There were rumors floating around that Bradford pulled himself from the lineup to give way to rookie Josh Rosen, the team’s first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

That’s not exactly what the Cardinals had probably envisioned when they brought Bradford in this offseason.

Bradford has certainly not lived up to his former rookie of the year billing despite a number of teams — Rams, Eagles, Vikings, and Cardinals — investing heavily in him.

Since he was drafted into the NFL in 2010 as the number one overall selection, Bradford has made  more than $124 million in total guaranteed money in the NFL.

It’s not overly shocking that teams have been willing to pay Bradford for his potential, and it’s not likely they’re done doing so. Bradford is likely going to be picked up by another team and once he clears waivers, somebody’s going to sign him to at least be a backup.

With the Cardinals already paying a good chunk of change to Bradford, some team might be able to get him on the cheap.

Here are some teams who might be interested in his services.
