Mack and Robinson, are they playing Sunday? I say sit em.

The Bears gambled last week that they could beat the Jets without Khalil Mack and Allen Robinson. They were proven correct as the team took care of business 24-10. Now they face a Buffalo Bills team that is 2-6 and resorting to their third-string quarterback in Nathan Peterman who has nine interceptions in less than 90 total passing attempts to start his career.

It’s hard not to feel like the Bears have this one too if they play as they did against New York. However, there are some key differences this time. It’s on the road in Buffalo and that team has already pulled a stunning upset before, beating Minnesota 27-6 in their own building. They have a good defense and play hard. A tribute to their head coach Sean McDermott.

Can the Bears beat them without Mack and Robinson? Yes. That said if either is good enough to go there is no reason to stop them. Chicago has to make sure they reach 5-3 at the halfway point because the second half of their schedule looks pretty brutal with five divisional games and a matchup with the undefeated Rams.

Do I think they’ll play? No. I believe the coaches will give them one more week to rest.
