Offensive Rookie of the Year

  1. Saquon Barkley (RB, New York Giants)
  2. Calvin Ridley (WR, Atlanta Falcons)
  3. Phillip Lindsay (RB, Denver Broncos)
  4. Quenton Nelson (OG, Indianapolis Colts)
  5. Christian Kirk (WR, Arizona Cardinals)

The Giants wanted an instant contributor for their offense when they drafted Barkley 2nd overall and they got their wish. It hasn’t helped them win games as hoped but there’s no doubt that the running back is a stud. He already has 1,016 yards from scrimmage with seven touchdowns in eight games. Ridley? He has six touchdowns on just 27 catches.

The biggest surprise has to be Lindsay. An undrafted free agent out of Colorado, he trails only Barkley among rookie rushers with 531 yards and has scored four TDs. Offensive linemen don’t win awards like this but people have found it almost impossible to ignore how dominant Nelson has been for the Colts since he took over at left guard.
