Baltimore Ravens: Is the 2018 season already in jeopardy?
By Andrew Kim
Ravens somehow still have major drop issues despite their offensive additions
Despite adding Michael Crabtree, Willie Snead, and John Brown in this past free agency along with Hayden Hurst/Mark Andrews in the 2018 NFL Draft; the Ravens still are one of the teams with the highest drop percentage.
Crabtree had a critical drop in the end zone against the Browns that led to an overtime win in Cleveland and Willie Snead has dropped more passes the past two weeks compared to earlier on in the season.
Rookie Hayden Hurst had a few drops the pass few games as he is trying to get implemented in the offense coming off a foot injury earlier in the season.
Flacco has been playing better this season and has been efficient most games but the dropped passes has hurt the Ravens very often as of late. Another playmaker would help Flacco a ton in spreading out the passing game to give him a target to throw to along with Chris Moore as the main special teamer.
With the trade deadline looming Tuesday (October 30th) at 4 pm ET, the Ravens could make a move to help in the passing game as well as the running game mentioned earlier. The Ravens need to fix these three key problems that have lingered on through the season if they want a shot at a playoff birth in a tough AFC North division and challenging schedule the rest of the year.
