John Elway is under the microscope big time. His decisions in the draft at the quarterback position to this point have been an utter disaster. Brock Osweiler? Paxton Lynch? Trevor Siemian? Chad Kelly? All have been major flops in one way or another. Now he’s trying to sell Case Keenum who to date has more interceptions than touchdowns. Despite having that Super Bowl win on his record, Elway has not handled the transition of this team well since then. He needs a decisive shot at the most important position, so he takes the gamble to go up and get Drew Lock. The kid from Missouri isn’t a polished product, but his arm talent might be the best in the draft.
