4. New York Giants (via OAK)

Mississippi State. Montez Sweat . 4. player. 31. . EDGE

With his new quarterback in hand, GM Dave Gettleman is free to continue building up the roster. There’s almost a guarantee that he’ll put focus on the defense early. Giants teams have always been at their best when they have a good defense and the one in place right now is not good. The key to any defense is the pass rush. Since New York shifted to a 3-4, they need somebody athletic who can play outside linebacker. Montez Sweat is emerging as one of the best edge rushers in the 2019 class. He’s long, athletic, explosive and displays plenty of power in his frame, allowing him to win in a variety of ways.
