The Pittsburgh Steelers always find a way to get back on track thanks to their ever-reliable offense. However, nobody can expect them to advance deep into the playoffs because their defense was and continues to be a liability. Outside of their pass rush, which is solid, they can’t seem to get the secondary or inside linebackers situated. The loss of Ryan Shazier continues to loom large for them. His speed and range were such a big help and covered up a lot of issues. Tre Lamar has that sort of ability as well at Clemson with an even bigger frame. He still has work to due on his diagnostic skills but there’s been steady improvement.
