The Detroit Lions have done a masterful job masking just how mediocre their pass rush is to this point. Outside of Ezekiel Ansah they don’t really have anybody of consequence and have gotten by with disciplined play. That’s going to bite them sooner or later against the best teams. This is why they probably should’ve addressed the issue sooner. Either way, taking Zach Allen should help to correct the problem. He’s a big, strong and aggressive defensive end who shows a knack for constantly finding his way into the backfield making tackles for loss and harassing the quarterback. Maybe not a premier athlete, but he’s got enough skill to do his job.
