Bears pick: Devin White, LB, LSU

Assuming the Bears finish in the top 15-20 picks, the Raiders can again cash in on the depth on the defensive side of the football in this year’s draft class.

With this pick, they get the ultra-athletic linebacker Devin White out of LSU. White took the SEC by storm last year with 133 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and his first career interception.

The Raiders’ defense has been really bad against the run and is definitely lacking at the second level outside of veteran Tahir Whitehead, one of the team’s free agent signings this offseason.

White might end up going a lot higher than this depending on how he tests at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine, but if the Raiders could somehow add these three pieces to their defense, how could they not be excited about the future?

The combination of Nick Bosa, Rashan Gary, and Devin White would instantly give the Raiders a competitive defense and that doesn’t include whatever else they could put together via free agency (maybe secondary help).
