Cowboys pick: Rashan Gary, DL, Michigan

After adding Nick Bosa with their top pick, the Raiders get another top 12-15 pick and cash in on the elite defensive line talent in this year’s draft class by snatching up Rashan Gary out of Michigan, who can play a little inside and outside.

The Raiders have some players up front defensively to build around with 2018 rookies P.J. Hall, Maurice Hurst, and Arden Key.

Those guys don’t have to be out of the picture to have an impact going forward. Their experience in 2018 is going to be invaluable moving forward, but the Raiders can’t pass up on a talent like Gary when they play in a division that has Patrick Mahomes and Phillip Rivers.

Gary’s productivity as an interior player is outstanding and combined with Big Ten rival Nick Bosa along with Hall and his former Michigan teammate Hurst, these top picks could end up making the Raiders look like the wise ones all along.
