8. Cleveland Browns

53. . QB. Cleveland. Tyrod Taylor . 8. player

The Baker Mayfield era has begun for the Cleveland Browns. That much was inevitable. The only reason the team traded for Tyrod Taylor from Buffalo was to provide a veteran presence on the roster and hopefully buy some time for Mayfield to get ready. That process has completed. Now the Browns have to think about whether they need Taylor anymore.

They do have veteran Drew Stanton at third string and he’s proven a capable backup before. They still might be able to get some decent value for Taylor in a trade as there are plenty of teams that would deal for a quality backup. Taylor still has capability and could be a huge benefit to a contender who might see their starter go down for whatever reason.
