24. New York Jets

player. 30. . CB. Jets. Mo Claiborne. 24

There aren’t many players on the Jets who are worth trading for or would be available in a trade. It’s really a stretch to find anyone the Jets would be willing to trade and another team would be willing to take.

There also aren’t many free agents coming up for the Jets that fit the bill. It doesn’t make sense to trade a receiver like Jermaine Kearse while you develop Sam Darnold, and there isn’t enough depth to move Avery Williamson at linebacker.

New York has several cornerbacks and both Mo Claiborne and Buster Skrine are free agents after this season. Claiborne would be the only player who can get any type of value despite the slow start to his career. Since joining the Jets Claiborne has rebounded and stayed healthy. A late round draft pick or another receiver would make sense in a trade for New York.

A mid round pick is the likely compensation considering what the Jets could get as a compensatory pick should Claiborne leave in free agency.
