2018 NFL Trade Deadline: One player on the block for each team
By Erik Lambert
15. Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts are like a number of other teams on this list. They probably have one eye on this season, another eye on the future. They’re in last place in the AFC South, but the first place team has a 4-3 record.
At this point, they might as well just let things play out and see what happens.
If that’s not the case and the Colts want to do something at the trade deadline, you have to start scanning their roster for players that would have value to playoff teams who would give up valuable draft capital to get something in return.
One of the Colts’ most (only) valuable defenders is Jabaal Sheard, a very good pass rusher and edge player who would most definitely help a playoff team. He has four sacks already this season and some team in pursuit of a title would love to have him. He’s still just 29, so the Colts have time to get some value out of him.
