14. Houston Texans

player. 10. . RB. Texans. Lamar Miller. 14

The Houston Texans are more likely to be buyers than sellers at the trade deadline, so I’m really just throwing Lamar Miller out there as a name. Maybe they would look to get some value for Whitney Mercilus too.

Here’s why I included Miller, though.

How cool would it be if the Texans could somehow acquire Le’Veon Bell? I don’t know that the Pittsburgh Steelers would be willing to include Bell in a trade to a team in their own conference, much less a playoff contender in the AFC South, but the Texans can very easily get out of Miller’s contract after this season and Bell would be a great long-term fit with the Texans.

Again, if the Texans look to sell or drop some salary, perhaps Miller or Mercilus would be of value to another team. They need help at offensive tackle, so Houston is much more likely to give away some picks at the deadline than high profile players, but you never know.
