2018 NFL Trade Deadline: One player on the block for each team

Rumors have surfaced that the Denver Broncos could potentially have a number of players on the trade block. There are a couple of reasons for that.

First and foremost, the Broncos have a stellar rookie class. Second, this is a team looking to the future at this point, not necessarily tanking in 2018 (though Kansas City doesn’t appear to be slowing down and the Chargers are also 5-2) but perhaps one eye on this season, one eye on the next.

That’s why a player of Thomas’ caliber could be traded, as unlikely as it seems. There are a number of teams that could be in the market for his services and Thomas has a huge cap number the Broncos would probably not mind unloading going forward. With Courtland Sutton waiting in the wings, the Broncos have a playmaker to go along with Emmanuel Sanders that could make Thomas expendable for the right price.
