The 2018 NFL season is about to get even more interesting than it already has with the arrival of the hotly anticipated trade deadline.

It sounds so unusual to say because not too long ago the trade deadline was considered a dead spot in NFL calendars because teams didn’t see the benefit of making moves. However, with the arrival of a new generation of head coaches and general managers, the floodgates have been opened. Not only are there more trades, but there’s also a ton of big ones.

This has left fans wondering what teams have in store for October 30th. Now is around the time where the moves start to pick up. So here’s a possibility for every team as the deadline draws near.

1. Arizona Cardinals

player. 32. . CB. Arizona. Patrick Peterson . 1

If Arizona Cardinals ownership was dead set against the idea of Patrick Peterson being traded prior to Thursday’s game against Denver, minds almost certainly changed after it. The Cardinals were demolished on both sides of the ball, sending a loud and clear message that this team is going nowhere anytime in the near future. So what does that mean for Peterson?

He’s one of their few proven assets on the roster but his trade value isn’t going to hold for much longer. He’s 28-years old and the prime of his career is beginning to approach its downslope. That said he could provide enormous value to a team that fancies itself a contender over the next couple of years. He is still one of the best cover men in the game.
