2019 NFL Mock Draft: Attacking and protecting young quarterbacks
Josh Allen is the Bills’ most prized asset right now, so protecting him is their highest priority going forward.
Since Allen is already getting set to miss some time in his rookie season due to injury (there were some injury concerns with him coming out of Wyoming, as well), the Bills’ need to protect him is all the more urgent.
Jonah Williams has been a big-time recruit and prospect since his high school days and was an instant-impact player when he came to Alabama to play for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.
He’s got the potential to be a lockdown tackle for a very long time in the NFL and can help the Bills keep their new franchise quarterback clean along with second-year player Dion Dawkins.
