32. . CB. LSU. Greedy Williams. 4. player

The future is now for Arizona with the promotion of Josh Rosen to the starting quarterback job. For one reason or another, he hasn’t gotten the attention Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield have, although the most likely reason is the market and the type of profile Rosen carries.

With Rosen entrenched as the starter long-term the Cardinals have several options to look at in the 2019 NFL Draft. They could get Rosen a new weapon, give him protection, or simply take the best player available. With McMcoy now gone the Cardinals offense could take a refeshing form with Rosen, David Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, and Christian Kirk.

It’s likely Fitzgerald retires after this year, so that leaves the Cardinals thin on offense. However, it might be best to replace Fitzgerald with another veteran receiver to help Rosen and Kirk.

Protecting Rosen is another option, but the Cardinals are only allowing an average of 2.7 sacks per game. They’ve survived the loss of center A.Q. Shipley and the majority of their starters are slated to return next year.

So let’s get greedy and give the Cardinals the best player available. That happens to be another playmaker on defense opposite Patrick Peterson.

Greedy Williams projects to be the best cornerback coming out of college this year. He’s caught eight interceptions in 19 collegiate games and his height at 6’2 is impressive considering the talent he’ll have to line up against.

Arizona has needed another shutdown cornerback with Peterson already dominating on one side of the field. Williams can be that guy.
