Philip Rivers continues to carry the torch for the Los Angeles Chargers but their defense continues to have issues whenever they run into good quarterbacks.

The reason being their corner position is lacking. Injuries have played a part in this with former 1st round pick Jason Verrett unable to stay healthy.

Finally, the Chargers have had enough and decide to go get more help. Amani Oruwariye is an all-around talent from Penn State.

He’s got the size to match up with any receiver and is a good athlete with quick feet and enough speed to avoid getting beat deep.
