Mock Trade: Jets trade a 3rd round pick to Dallas to move from 17 to 13

Mississippi State. Montez Sweat. 13. player. 30. . DE

The Jets may have sacrificed another high draft choice to move up, but the prize is worth it. One thing their good defense has lacked to this point is a genuine edge rusher. Somebody who can play outside of Leonard Williams and wreak havoc with constant single blocks.

He’s big, long, powerful, quick and shows an ability to win in different ways with his violent hands. The kid is still scratching the surface of how good he can be.
