Not really a Bears related question, but: If his career were to end tomorrow, would Andy Reid make it into the Hall of Fame?

Reid is a phenomenal coach. One of the best of this generation and I absolutely think he should go into the Hall of Fame. Will he? It’s so close. He has tons of wins on his record. His teams have been consistently successful forever. He made it to a Super Bowl. I just fear that the voters will get stuck on the fact he hasn’t won a championship as enough to keep him out. The way I see it he’s got about a 65% chance of getting in as is. If he can even make it to another Super Bowl, that might be enough to push it over the top.

I mentioned how thin Bears are at safety after seeing our secondary struggle to make open field tackles in Miami last week. What were the biggest depth reveals from the loss and how/who can they respond?

Right now I view the secondary as the weakest link on the team. That’s not necessarily bad since it’s a decent group of players. Just no star power to speak of. They were the culprits on the two biggest plays that led to losses against Green Bay and Miami. I have high hopes for Eddie Jackson and like Kyle Fuller. Bryce Callahan also deserves a new deal. Beyond them I think the Bears can do better than what they have at the moment.
