15. WR N’Keal Harry, Arizona State – Harry has the NFL size that teams yearn for and is a matchup threat against most corners. What makes his skill stand out is how tough he is after the catch as he turns into a running back somewhat and makes defenders pay. As a freshman, burst onto the scene with 58 catches and five touchdowns and his 2017 was even more impressive with 82 receptions and eight touchdowns. Tough and dependable. A #1 receiver at the next level.

14. WR D.K. Metcalf, Ole Miss – Metcalf is slightly bigger than Harry but Metcalfe has the advantage in pure speed. Thanks to his great stature, Metcalf is marvelous at high pointing the football and not allowing defensive backs to swipe at catches. Metcalf is a threat to score every single time he touches the football.

(Metcalf’s placement in this big board was made prior to his season-ending injury)

13. DT Dexter Lawrence, Clemson – Powerful man at 340 pounds with bull-like strength to make opposing lineman regret blocking him at times. That strength is not only an asset in run defense but he can generate pressure at times to quarterbacks even with him being somewhat limited with pass rushing moves. Lawrence can be a rock in the middle of a team’s defense.

12. WR A.J. Brown, Ole Miss – The Ole Miss offense have a number of weapons but Brown may be the best of that bunch. A compact 225-lb frame with NFL strength, Brown posted 11 touchdowns in 2017 and averaged 16.7 yards per catch. Brown also has the ability to make the tough catches in traffic and when it comes to beating press coverage, that is also another box that is checked off.

11. DT Jeffrey Simmons, Mississippi State – That teammate that I mentioned earlier of Montez Sweat is this guy. A long and angular defensive tackle, Simmons is a really good pass rusher from the interior with his active hands and length. Simmons has the strength to beat blockers with ease at times. A game-changing defensive tackle.
