“Getting paid would finally allow Odell Beckham Jr. to settle down”

New York Giants fans have always found excuses to explain away why Odell Beckham Jr. tends to act so childish and immature during games when things aren’t going his way. Some have called it passion and pure love for the game. Others more recently said it was because his contract was coming up and the distraction of possibly being traded or a free agent was weighing on him.

If the Giants just paid him, then certainly he’d calm down and just play football. Well, New York did their part and Beckham has not even come close to doing his. As the team has continued to struggle under the ineffective Eli Manning, Beckham’s antics haven’t gotten better. He continues to throw emotional fits and even called out teammates during interviews.
