“No Le’Veon Bell will derail the Pittsburgh Steelers offense”

As it became clear that star running back Le’Veon Bell was likely going to hold out, there were many who felt the Pittsburgh Steelers wouldn’t be able to function without him. Not at their maximum capacity. This may have happened at times in the past but the fact is the Steelers have always found their way without Bell after a certain adjustment period.

The fact they had James Connor waiting in the wings this team only made it that much easier. The Steelers have the #5 offense in the NFL thus far and Connor has accounted for 710 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns. It would seem Bell isn’t missed all that much, proving his decision to hold out for more money may have ultimately backfired.
