“The Buffalo Bills are a lock for the #1 pick”

It’s a long season and things change but it seems the Buffalo Bills are reveling in the role of spoiler. Coming into the season, after a massive purge of veteran talent from their roster, there’s was little to like about where this team was headed. They had youth and upside for sure but also a ton of holes that was almost certain to derail them to an extent they’d be favorites for the #1 pick.

To their credit the Bills have played hard to ensure that’s not the case. They’re still 2-4 but several teams have a worse record and their two victories came against two fairly good teams in the Vikings and Titans. They likely will still finish with a bad record but their odds of nabbing that #1 pick look in doubt. It’s the small victories in life that count.
