George: Philadelphia finally got a convincing win against a very bad Giants team, but their offensive line took a major hit. Veteran left tackle Jason Peters suffered a torn bicep, and while he might be able to play through it, the injury is just another hit to the Canton-bound tackle’s career. Last year Peters has suffered a torn ACL and MCL and he’s dealt with achillies injuries in years past. The ageless wonder will turn 37 in January and could be done.

Right tackle is solidified with Lane Johnson, whose struggles have been explained with a high ankle sprain. Halapoulivaati Vaitai stepped in last year for Peters and the team drafted rugby player Jordan Mialata in the seventh round. Neither are proven options and with Carson Wentz’s knee injury the Eagles should protect their franchise quarterback as best as possible.

Jonah Williams currently projects as the best offensive tackle in the 2019 NFL Draft with Trey Adams dealing with another injury at Washington. Williams played well against a ferocious Clemson defensive line last year in the College Football Playoff semifinals, often pushing to the second level and creating excellent running lanes.
