Erik: Despite their impressive record to this point, the Kansas City Chiefs have problems at the cornerback position.

More from Mock Drafts

Kendall Fuller was a nice addition but outside of him it’s quite suspect. They need more depth and talent after losing Marcus Peters in the trade to Los Angeles.

Trevon Diggs is the sort of quick fix they will be asking for. Alabama has a way of breeding pro-ready prospects, especially on defense. He’ll be no exception.

Diggs is another of those corners with a mix of good size and athleticism to go along with that Crimson Tide physicality and discipline. He should be able to start right away and have an impact.
