2019 NFL Mock Draft: A changing of the guard in NYC

8. Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles might consider some offensive help here but there’s really nothing that stands out on that side of the ball. Conversely, there’s a ton of defensive talent. One position group they seem somewhat weakened at is linebacker. While they have solid players there, they have no superstars. That would change if they were able to add Devin White. The LSU standout will check every box you have. He’s got plenty of size, range, read-react ability, and a keen mind that seems to sense where the ball is going almost every time. He’s the conductor who can direct the action and clean up the mess left by others.
