29. Green Bay Packers (via NO)

29. player. 49. . EDGE. Miami. Joe Jackson

Edge rusher hasn’t seen much action from the Green Bay Packers over the past couple years aside from a Day 2 draft pick and the signing of Julius Peppers way back in 2014. Aside from that it’s been Clay Matthews and Nick Perry for the most part. If this defense wants to take another step towards being taken seriously they need to stockpile more guys who can get to the quarterback. Joe Jackson is going to divide a lot of people in the draft community. His numbers to this point aren’t all that impressive, but the flash plays he has at Miami prove he could be something special if he ever figures out how to utilize his physical gifts properly.
